Babalwa Mneno has urged those with means to help the less fortunate during this coronavirus pandemic.

She said this in a video posted to Twitter.

The influencer captioned the video, "It's time we do good for those who might need a little help from us."

"And remember, it will be our own that will be hardest hit by this corona pandemic."

Babalwa pointed out that people in rural areas will be hit hard as many might not have access to the various methods used to protect themselves.

Babalwa's fans were behind her all the way.

Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi wrote, "Yes baby, let's go there, rural. I will go with you. Let's start at Maphumulo."

Nzuki wrote, "Queen," with a heart emoji.

Yet another fan agreed, "Yes, Barbie doll."

The first Mzansi child to test positive for coronavirus was in the Western Cape a few days ago.

The child is a Grade 9 pupil.
