The Economic Freedom Fighters prides itself on fighting for the rights and needs of the poor.
Party leader Julius Malema regularly preaches and calls for government measures to uplift those living in poverty.
On Thursday, an example was shared via social media that proves the party is walking the walk.
Katlego seema (@Shikoaneseema) took to Twitter to praise the party for building a beautiful home for a grateful gogo in Limpopo.
He included photos of the shack they lived in previously and the following caption:
"The EFF limpopo built a house for gogo,continue to lead and taking care of the poor of the poorest.Thank you EFF SA."
The tweet hasn't exactly gone viral, but numerous tweeps added to the complimentary comments made in favour of the 'fighters'.
Chef_Sibankie (@Lesiba_Lediga) said,
"I know of a few wards in Limpopo where they installed boreholes for the communities. Not to mention the tractors they bought and they can service the needy for free (I think) when they farm."
Letlotlo la BaleteRegistered sign (@Excommunicador) added,
"Only EFF can deliver such home to our people."
Maxwell1104 (@maxilee27) said,
"EFF is giving free but Middle class are spending 20 years in debt because ANC gov don't want to change the system."
