Connie Chiume announces the passing of her dear mother, MaNdlovu

- MaNdlovu was battling lung cancer that rapidly spread throughout her body, eventually taking her life

- While the family were prepared for the worst, MaNdlovu's passing has still hit them all very hard

It is a sad time for renowned Mzansi actress, Connie Chiume as she mourns the passing of her beloved mother, MaNdlovu.

Losing a loved one, especially a parent, is one of the things many fear the most. learnt that MaNdlovu's health had been deteriorating rapidly since the beginning of 2020.

MaNdlovu was diagnosed with lung cancer and the doctors did not give her much time to live. The cancer was too far gone and the family, unfortunately, had to come to terms with it.

The cancer spread from MaNdlovu's lungs and spread through her entire body, and then took her life.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Connie expressed how special the relationship she had with her mother was. MaNdlovu was Connie’s best friend.

As the family were well aware of MaNdlovu’s deteriorating health, Connie said that her passing did not come as a shock but it still hit them all very hard.

Taking to social media with a picture of her and her mother, Connie announced the passing of MaNdlovu.

May her soul rest in peace.

In happier news, AKA’s great grandmother turned a whopping 107 years old and he could not be more grateful that she is still alive.

The Forbes and Reed family are very fortunate that one of their very dear and special family members have been able to live such a long and wonderful life.

AKA and his momma, Lynn Forbes, both took to social media to wish great granny a happy 107th birthday.

While we are sure great granny doesn’t have social media, although you never know, it is definitely a moment worth celebrating and sharing.
