- With events being cancelled, people are getting creative as to how they celebrate
- A very responsible social media user demonstrated that just because it's cancelled, it doesn't mean it's over
- Social media users showered the law graduate with praise as he donned his court robes and his sister's 'blue thingy'
Thousands of events have been called off, but just because they were cancelled, doesn't mean it's over.
A social media user posted pics of his graduation after the official event was called off. @Llizzard20 appears to have studied law, a particularly hard degree, and would not accept all that hard work would not be recognised without some sort of send-off.
In a cute post, he donned his court gown and, according to him, his sister's 'blue thingy' and had his own graduation, social distancing included.
Breifly.co.za discovered that he even features a picture of him demonstrating his take on a social distancing handshake.
The post is captioned with the following cute message:
"My grad ceremony was cancelled but we got dressed up, had dinner at home and took pics anyway. Feat. Social distancing handshakes and hugs, my court gown and my sisters blue thingy "
Social media users were quick to wish him well and pass on their messages of thanks and praise, especially for the responsible manner in which he celebrated.
