Many were left in disbelief when news broke that Prince Charles tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
Briefly.co.za reported that as a member of the British royal family, the Duke of Cornwall had many public engagements recently.
It therefore makes it near impossible to pinpoint where and when it was contracted.

According to a report by the BBC, Prince Charles showed mild symptoms and was tested on Monday.
The news has started trending via social media and Briefly.co.za gauged some of the reactions.
Some tweeps empathised with the heir to the British throne, while others had no chill.

Incredibly, the late Princess Diana and Meghan Markle were trending just as much as Prince Charles.
Some insensitive comments implied that Diana would have welcomed the news. Others shared comical memes implying that the British media would look for a reason to blame Prince Harry's wife.
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Prince William was appointed as the new Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
Queen Elizabeth handed the role to her grandson, who will serve for the next 12 months.
