- A daughter has pulled a broken TV screen prank on her mother
- The mother's reaction to the video has divided social media users
- Some feel sorry for her while some just want to prank their own mothers
Yoh! This is the first word that came out of a South African woman when her daughter pulled a broken TV prank on her.
The daughter posted the video on social media on Wednesday, and judging from the comments from her tweet South Africans were never ready for her mother's reaction.
@RAE_LAIRI captioned the post:
"Lmao, so I did the broken TV prank on my mom a few weeks ago and this is how it went."
On the video, the daughter stands in front of the flat screen TV while covering her mouth with both hands to express shock emotion.
With an emotional voice, she calls her mother to the living room.
When her mother came to the living room to check on her daughter she couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing.
"Yoh! Yoh! Yoh! Yoh! Bathong, Mpho!"
While clapping her hands in disbelief, she asks her daughter:
"What happened here? How could you do this to me mara?"
Realising that her mother was in shock, she then explains to her that it was just a prank.
Briefly.co.za gathered that she had used a cracked screen background video she had downloaded online.
"Yoh mom felt so betrayed. 'How could you do this to me mara', I'm crying."
"She didn’t even look for long she threw her hands up and she was done."
"How could you do this to her Mpho?"
Another user @whotfissam wrote:
"Shame your mom sounded like she wanted to cry."
"Your mother was legit heart sore."
"Damn that yoooh came from the bottom of her soul."
While some social media users felt sorry for @RAE_LAIRI's mother, some expressed their interest in pranking their own mothers.
"Please tell me how to do this. I need to pull it on my mom."
There are other videos of the prank doing rounds on social media.
"So we are pranking our mothers now! The same mothers who suffer from high blood pressure and stuff!!"
