Pick n Pay decided to take a comical approach on the panic buying drama, encouraging their customers to chill through song.
Panic buying has been one of the biggest issues worldwide. Despite multiple announcements and words or reassurance, people have still cleared shelves.
Briefly.co.za came across a post where several musicians and comedians sing a song titled Don’t Panic Buy .
The clip has gone viral and for good reason. Not only is it on point and catchy, but it is also totally hilarious!
The lyrics of the catchy tune urge shoppers to only buy what they really need and save the rest for others – ain’t no need to panic buy, peeps.
Written by Ard Matthews and produced by Theo Crous, Don’t Panic Buy, was sung by some of Mzansi’s finest.
Lira, DRB singer Madjozi, Kahn Morbee from the Parlotones, Arno Carstens, Karen Zoid, Early B, Jack Parow, Francois van Coke, Loyiso Bala and Zolani Mahola from Freshlyground, all took part in making the lit track.
