Pitso Mosimane led a golden generation of players at Mamelodi Sundowns over the last few seasons.

The likes of Percy Tau, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly all became household names under the watchful eye of Mosimane.

It therefore came as no surprise that the Downs mentor recently paid tribute to the three musketeers via social media.

Reacting to a photo shared by Dolly, Mosimane heaped praise on the trio and thanked them for their immense contributions.

He went one step further and invited them back to Chloorkop, whether it be for training or rehab.

To most, the admiration and respect on display seemed natural, but some tweeps took exception.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Kaizer Chiefs fans saw it as a ploy to lure Billiat back to the Brazilians and labelled it as being disrespectful.
