- South Africans who feel they need some spiritual empowerment will love what Dr Tumi has planned
- He will be giving the country an online worship session
- Dr Tumi will be joined by other gospel singers and Pastor Benjamin Dube
South Africans are now officially taking part in the three-week lockdown and it's a strange thing for them to get used to.
Dr Tumi felt that he would make things a little easier and give them some spiritual food to help things go down smoothly.
He is planning an online lockdown worship session which will be streamed live and attended by fellow gospel stars.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Pastor Benjamin Dube will be leading with prayer while others such as Lebo Sekgobela and Taki Ndou will be part of the worship session.
That's not all that Dr Tumi is doing for South Africa. He will also help by putting his experience as a physician to good use.
As South Africa is battling the coronavirus, he will be offering his services to the country to help lighten the burden.
He will be working alongside the professionals at Tembisa Hospital’s specialised Covid-19 unit.
"They need all the help they can get. So I thought as opposed to being locked up at home how about I go out and help not only my colleagues but our people as well.
"I had a good two years working in extreme resistance in a TB hospital. So to manage infectious diseases I really got proper training and experience then."
