Somizi Mhlongo and his wedded bae might be a couple of years apart in age, but that doesn’t bother him one bit. Haters gonna hate.

Age is but a number and if there is anyone who has truly proven that, it’s Somizi and Mohale.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Somizi had been receiving a fair bit of shade for the age gap between himself and Mohale.

Somizi and Mohale’s relationship has been closely followed by the public since the day it became known – even more so now that they threw two boujee weddings and proposed a third.

According to Somizi’s humorous post, the age gap between them is a whopping 22 years.

Taking to social media to show the haters flames, Somizi posted a funny coronavirus clip of two old people, telling the world this would be him and Mohale in 60 years’ time.

Peeps should have known better than to have tried to make Somizi feel some type of way about his age.

Somizi’s fans were bust! They found the clip rather amazing and loved how he took the age gap shade in his stride. Even some of his fellow celeb friends couldn't deal with the level of lit that this post is.

@zaharasa: "I love you Somsom❤️"

In other news, Somizi is worried about the coronavirus and how things are going down in South Africa right now. With the president announcing a 21-day lockdown, people are finally seeing that this isn't just a passing matter.

The entertainer called on Mzansi to stay at home and take care of themselves and their loved ones.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported on how Somizi is known for being a goofy and funny entertainer and it comes as no surprise that he sang about the coronavirus.

Although he was lighthearted about the situation, he knows the importance of taking the dreaded virus seriously. He belted out a song and followed it up with a message to his fans, calling on them to spread only accurate news about the fast-spreading virus.

Somizi is particularly worried about the people who do not have access to social media and televisions for information.

He asked his fans to go to everyone they know who might be misinformed.
