- A kind-hearted woman went out of her way for the less fortunate
- She went from store to store and bought food for the homeless
- Many shelves are empty after panic buyers cleared major stores of their stock
It is during these tough times that our faith in humanity is restored. A Facebook post on the group #imstaying has gone viral. The post was uploaded by a proud husband whose wife went from store to store buying essential foods and handing them out to the homeless.
With panic buying clearing shelves of the more affordable food, it has become very difficult for those with very little to afford basic foods.
Briefly.co.za learned that Jess Dickerson took it upon herself to help those less fortunate during this time of unprecedented challenges.
Geoff Matthee wrote this caption with his post:
"So proud of my wifey. While everyone was panic buying, she went garage to garage and bought food for the homeless and drove all over giving them food and a kind word to be safe and look after their families ❤️❤️❤️
"We should all help where we can in these times."
South Africans praised Jess's kind gesture and showered her with compliments:

She thought of others in this time of stress where people are only thinking about themselves I'm one of these people. I thought about homeless but didn't cross my mind to go give them.
