The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has tested positive for the coronavirus or Covid-19.

Reports indicate that the British politician, writer, and former journalist now serving as Prime Minister is self-isolating but not stepping back from his duties for the time being.

The report has taken the world by storm as the minister for the United Kingdom's centre of power and leader of the Conservative Party since 2019 was least expected to be infected with the novel coronavirus.

It appears that the world still has a lot to do in order to put the Covid-19 pandemic under full control. Separately, the death toll in Spain has sharply risen as 769 people have died in 24 hours.

The United States has also now overtaken China as more than 85,000 people have been confirmed to have contracted the novel coronavirus in the country with the strongest economy in the world.

More people with Covid-19 have died in China and Australia is also set to quarantine all returning citizens in hotels. However, in all, the report of UK Prime Minister testing positive appears to be the most astonishing of all.
