Day 1 of lockdown did not go exactly as planned, with the police arresting a number of people for defying the order to stay at home to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Day 2 is already looking better with a lot of South Africans taking to social media to reflect on what lockdown means and what they are doing to pass the time.

Quite a number of people are looking at the silver lining, they are being responsible and seeing the time they must spend at home as being a time for being productive and bonding with their loved ones.

In other news, reported on Cassper Nyovest complaining that he did not have the same amount of money as Rihanna so he couldn't help out.

He went on to say that if South Africans supported him like they did Drake and Rihanna then he could gladly help out.

Cassper said:

We don't have Rihanna money. Truth is, we don't even know what we gone eat if the lockdown goes down for more than 3 months. Maybe if we were supported and stanned like yall stan Drake and Rihanna we would have the money to help. It's not that we don't want to, we don't have.

He received mixed reactions from social media users.
