Covid-19: Lady shares emotional tale of struggle after positive test

A lady identified as Reea Rodney has shared a harrowing experience about how she is struggling to deal after testing positive for the dreaded Covid-19. She revealed that she has been sick for eight days.

Reea Rodney revealed via social media that she tested positive for the coronavirus and asked for prayers for a speedy recovery.

After being in the hospital for eight days, she noted that she needs all the support she can get.

''I have been in the hospital for the past five days now battling against COVID-19, severe viral pneumonia and a small pulmonary embolism,'' Reea Rodney said.

She said that she is unable to breathe due to the damages the virus has caused in her lungs but noted that she’s a fighter.

''I’m a fighter so I’m not going ANWHERE but I’m calling on extra reinforcements. Pray for my husband and kids too because they are also going through at this time,'' Precious sadly wrote.

Meanwhile, reports have surfaced that an Alexandra resident has tested positive for the coronavirus, the first patient in the region.

With a high-density population, concerns have been raised over the impact the Covid-19 could have on citizens.
