An old man has taken drastic measures to protect himself and others from the spread of Covid-19. He is helping to enforce the lockdown rules with a slingshot, more commonly known in South Africa as a ketty. He is none other than former Orlando Pirates goalkeeper, Innocent Mayoyo
A social media user uploaded some pictures of what people are referring to as a "national hero". He captions the post with this message:
This is our national HERO .
His making sure that people remain inside their houses.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported on another hero, a proud husband took to social media to heap praise of his dedicated wife, Janeldi Botha, who puts others ahead of herself, demonstrating true Ubuntu.
He captioned the post with this message posted on the #ImStaying Facebook page:
