Man, 75, with lung problems beats the coronavirus, offers hope

There's no doubting the effect the coronavirus has had and people around the world have been living in fear.

However, the recent recovery made by one man should bring hope to those fearing the worst.

It's been well documented that the Covid-19 strain has the most devastating effects on the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions.

Peter Kerpen meets both criteria and recently tested positive for the dreaded virus.

Not only is Peter 75 years of age, but he's also been living with limited lung function.

Despite this, he was recently discharged after making a remarkable recovery.

His son Phil was beaming with pride and took to Twitter to share the news:

"Dad went home today... crushed coronavirus even though he is 75 and has limited lung function... the greatest."
