Mzansi's men are taking a stand and questioning the perceived reality of what being a man really means.
To some, even the thought of being metrosexual is inconceivable, but times have certainly changed.
In light of this, the #MenWithWeaves challenge seems to have taken off in a big way and Briefly.co.za noted that it's been trending via Twitter.
Many local men have been participating by donning weaves and taking hilarious selfies.
The assumption is that they've been borrowing the hairpieces from lovers or family members, but some have pulled it off like true pros.
Most have welcomed the challenge and seen the funny side.

One could argue that the challenge has taken off as a result of the nationwide lockdown.
South Africans have been trying to kill time during the day and a perfect example of this took place when a couple pranked a garbage collector.
