A new popular show has started on DSTV's Channel O, called #lockdownhouseparty which aims to entertain South Africans from the comfort of their homes, which has become the new normal.

The first show was broadcast last week and was well-received on the channel. The show is essentially a live-streamed concert.

Briefly.co.za learned that every Friday night until 11 April artists such as DJ Maphorisa, DJ Zinhle, Ms Cosmo, Black Motion and DJ Sumbody would grace the screens.

Yesterday, one of those artists was DJ Tira and South Africans were less than impressed with what he had to offer.

Mzansi took to social media to rate his performance:

In DJ Tira's defence, Zake had a stellar performance and performing to a virtual audience is really difficult.

Next week's screening of the #lockdownhouseparty will take place on the 11th of April and will keep Mzansi entertained through these challenging times.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported on the beef between Cassper Nyovest and AKA. Cassper came for AKA's neck during last night's Instagram battle between Gemini Major and Tweezy.

The Doc Shebeleza hit-maker said that AKA's career would be nowhere if Burna Boy hadn't jumped onto AKA's smash hit, All Eyes On Me.

When Tweezy started playing All Eyes On Me, Mufsasa commented, "Back when Burna Boy was saving ni***s' careers with hooks."
