Pearl Modiadie has asked her fans to please respect her boyfriend and not call him 'mlungu bae'.

A fan responded, "Iphi mlungu bae kanti? (Where is white bae?)"

Pearl asked, "That's what you call him?" with an annoyed face.

When the fan pointed out that she doesn't know the bae's name, Pearl said simply calling him bae would suffice.

Another fan quickly backed Pearl up.

She wrote, "I also get annoyed when people say umlungu wakho (your white person), why can't he be referred to as umuntu wakho (your person)?"

Pearl pointed out that she can't be with her man due to restrictive lockdown regulations.
