Thando Thabethe‘s doing her bit to help the homeless during lockdown

- Together with Boothfest Foundation and radio personality Mantsoe Pout-Nomzamo, Thando is feeding, clothing and supplying basic essentials to those in need

So many people are truly suffering during the lockdown. Thando Thabethe and team have selflessly taken time out to assist the less privileged during this time.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Thando has teamed up with Boothfest Foundation and the beautiful Mantsoe Pout-Nomzamo to help those in need.

The team have come together in order to bring some relief to those who are vulnerable during this extremely tough time.

The group began at Centurion and are now seeking other places to assist their mission of feeding as many homeless people as they can.

They have put in place strict hygienic measures and have called on the public to assist where they can. On Thando’s tweet she listed what is needed should people want to join in with their quest. People have to hold a permit which provides care services or social relief for the distressed as they do. Social distancing will be enforced and rules and regulations will be adhered to.

When our president announced the lockdown, there was mention of homing those who were homeless.

In other news, Yanga Sobetwa has decided to focus on the little people during this crisis. She’s reached out to the tiny ones to spread coronavirus awareness.

This pandemic has affected the entire globe and many children all over the world's lives have been turned upside down.

Yanga saw a need to connect with the little people of Mzansi and the world – they are our future.
