The 21-day lockdown has limited the movements of all South African citizens. Apart from the essential workers, South Africans have to remain in their houses for most of the day as the government tries to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
One little girl celebrated her birthday during the lockdown and could not have a party with all her friends.
However, a group of garbage collectors made her day just a little more special. They were filmed singing Happy Birthday to the girl.
Middelburg Karoo posted the video on their Facebook page. They revealed the adorable clip was filmed in Cradock.
In less than a day, the clip generated more than 241 000 views. South Africans were touched by the garbage collectors' kind gesture.
