As the world continues to battle with the global pandemic, many people are being faced with challenges on the home front. One such person is American actress and singer, Jennifer Lopez.

In a stay-at-home version of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the American popstar revealed she has had challenges with helping her kids with their schoolwork.

"Honestly, I think we're all like, what is this? I'm not a teacher, and also, have you seen the math that they make the kids do now? It's a new math. Half the time I'm like, 'OK, yeah, let's look up that word. What does that mean?' It's been an experience, for sure," Lopez said.

Briefly.co.za learned that although she admitted that these were scary times, Lopez appreciated the time she now has to reconnect with her family.

"We don't know what's gonna happen, but having a reconnection with the family and Alex, and not having to run around so much, is kind of nice, too. So, making the best of it," she said.
