- A woman taught a boy a lesson when he tried to slide into her DMs
- She confronted him about the fact that he had a girlfriend
- She followed through on her threat to send the girlfriend screenshots of their conversation
A woman who used the Twitter handle @LindiweAmaira schooled a young man who was trying to get fresh with her.
Briefly.co.za learned that she was too clued up to fall for his tricks, she wasn't interested in him at all and particularly due to the fact that he was not single and in a relationship.
She asked if he is single and he replied yes.
"Your girlfriend wouldn't be happy to know that, don't you think?" she replied.
She threatened to share the conversation with his girlfriend, to which he responded by pretending to be someone else.
"Hello. I am Tlhokomelo, someone is sending people texts."
She was not fooled by his simple trick.
"You think you are smart. I've been dealing with men like you young man."
She followed through on his threat and sent his girlfriend their conversation.
"Hi your man is in my DM. I presume you are dating that guy if I'm not mistaken."
Social media users found it hilarious and reacted:
@thatfabianguy: "Man went straight for the jugular vein. No first date or lunch, nothing. Just straight to come over."
@_bassiebm: "My leader!"
@kayGThePlug: “ 'Perhaps I may visit if you don’t mind', lmfaoooo that’s uncomfy, especially coz u don’t even know that person..."
@DimphoTotwe1: "Fix the country ma’am."
However, some users felt that it was not fair that she sent the message to the guy's girlfriend.
@NkhangweMulaudz: "I still say, it is childish to post such things, if you not interested in the guy just say so rather than posting your chats."
@Musuthu: "It’s unnecessary to dispose private conversation. It shows you are not trustworthy and no one like that but it’s okay, you will get a few likes and we move on."
@Ounalypse: "Madam that's not good at all. No warning nyana you just rat him like that."
In other news, Briefly.co.za covered a story about a lady identified on Twitter as Sharon Godwin who narrated that she got her boyfriend by snatching him from his then-girlfriend who posted him on social media.
According to Sharon, when she saw the man's picture, he looked so nice that she decided to message him. They started talking and eventually, the gentleman dumped his girl for her.
Sharon Godwin took the opportunity to hilariously caution ladies who have been 'advertising' their lovers online to keep doing it as the 'snatchers' would also be winning the men's hearts.
