- If you can't go to the restaurant, bring the restaurant to you

- They set up a restaurant in their home for two 'VIPs' - their kids
A couple found a way to grant their kids their wish to eat out at a restaurant... something that is easier said than done during a lockdown.
Callum and Clare-Marie Macaulay were at a loss for words as to how to explain to their two boys why they had to stay home during the lockdown.
They had the ingenious idea of making their home into a restaurant. With mom playing the role of waitress and dad as the chef.
“So during this pandemic, Evan and Lucas wanted to go to a restaurant, they don’t quite understand why they can’t – so, the rest is history,” Callum wrote alongside a video posted to his Facebook.
“I think Clare-Marie Macaulay and I are officially losing the plot.”
In a charming video the boys run into the house and are seated at a prepared table after their bookings are confirmed. Mom is there to take their orders.
The boys loved the experience, the whole restaurant atmosphere, even the bill which was delivered at the end of the meal. Lucky for the boys it was on the house.
In other news, Briefly.co.za reported on a touching graduation ceremony which was performed at home due to social distancing measures.
Things don't always work out as planned but one family did not let that ruin their special day. Crystal Janice Ross and her sister, Jady, were both set to graduate this year.
However, with the lockdown due to the coronavirus in place, the university cancelled the graduation ceremony.
On Wednesday, Ross wrote on the #ImStaying Facebook page that she was supposed to have her second graduation and Jady would have had her first.
