- She encourages parents to read the bible to their children and form home sermons and praise and worship sessions
Gospel singer, Lebo Sekgobela, is going to do just that through social media performances.
We are not only dealing with the lockdown but also having to endure a different approach to Easter. Once again, our caring and loving fellow South Africans will do all they can be make it easier and even put a smile on our faces.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Lebo said that South African artist will take turns performing on social media. She also said that we should all be calling or sending an SMS to check on each other through this difficult time.
Pointing out that people need to abide by the safety instructions that government has laid down, Lebo said that they are praying for people to have the wisdom needed to understand Covid-19. She also said that everyone single person needs to take this very seriously.
She also encouraged parents to use this time to engage with their children, assist them with their studies and find relaxing time by playing games with them. Children love stories, so read them a book and then ask them questions about what you have just read, Lebo says in this way they are learning but in a fun way.
The singer went on to say that for those that do not have data in order to stream concerts, try baking or cooking or take time to read the Bible. The children can get involved too, by learning how to pray for others, showing them not to be selfish and to take other people into consideration.
