Being allowed the opportunity to gain directing experience on the Isidingo set is something Motlatsi is extremely grateful for.
“Isidingo allowed me to grow so much. I started out as a young actor and by the end was directing scenes. The producers really allowed me so much freedom and I appreciate that.”
Motlatsi believes in his skills and feels that he has a lot more to offer the entertainment industry than just acting. He has an eye for directing and cannot wait to put his plans into action and shine.
Understanding the flaws of the entertainment industry, Motlatsi feels that his experience as an actor will make him that much better of a director.
“Whenever I watch a production I see its strengths and weaknesses, what it could be doing better or how it is excelling. It's always a learning experience for me. I want other people to see it. I want people to appreciate it and understand how talented people in the industry are.”
Motlatsi misses his time on Isidingo and the crew. However, the shows ending forced him out of his comfort zone and opened a million new and exciting doors.
