Mzansi rapper Reason believes that it is "disrespectful" to compare Stogie T to other local rappers, including him.

The Wu-Tang hitmaker believes that Stogie T needs more recognition than most Mzansi rappers because he paved the way for most of them.

Reason was responding to a tweet asking people about who is their goat (greatest of all time) between Zakwe, Stogie T and him.

"By the way, I truly appreciate this tweet & it’s intentions, but please, let’s never disrespect @TumiMolekane like this ever again. This n***a been in the game so long he paved ways for rappers like me and @ZakweSA. And he’s still outchea Out-rapping your faves in his Porsche."

When one tweep said the tweet never meant to disrespect Stogie but was just an opinion, Reason responded:

“It was not an opinion. It was a question of comparison... which is disrespectful.”

Some of his followers commended Reason for standing up for Stogie T.

Willy Wilson said:

"I hear you reason, respect to Stogie... But From my point, y'all 3 (@Reasonhd @ZakweSA & @TumiMolekane) are keeping classic lyrical rap alive... don't get me wrong your hip hop sound has adapted with the times but a lot about what you choose to rap about is heartfelt stuff."

@ydb_ZN wrote:

"Wow Reason I wish I can unfollow you and refollow you bro... Few Rappers speak like this."

@Yourlokalhead added:

"Forgive them, for the they know not what they're doing."
