A popular social media influencer made the most of the nationwide lockdown by practising his culinary skills.

Twitter user KE SHARP (@danielmarven) revealed his solution to the absence of fast-food outlets, as a result of the lockdown regulations.

He cooked up a storm to produce a dish that closely resembled the famous 'streetwise 2' meal served at KFC franchises.

The pic revealed two crispy pieces of fried chicken, accompanied by a handful of chips. Daniel even produced his own version of mash and gravy.

His attention to detail was further illustrated by the brown paper bag, which featured the famous branding.

Briefly.co.za gauged the reaction and noted that the lighthearted tweet had many others licking their lips.
