Kwesta’s manager let slip of rate to feature on international collab

Mzansi rapper Kwesta charges $10 000 for a feature on an international collaboration.

Nota Baloyi, Kwesta’s manager, recently revealed in an interview that it doesn’t matter which country you come from, if you want him on your song you have to pay in dollars.

"There are niggas that are paying ten thousand dollars to have Kwesta on a song."

Wait, it doesn’t only end there. International artists have to fork out some more dollars to have him come to their video shoot.

"To have him to come to a video; an extra five thousand US dollars."

Ten thousand US dollars is around R186 000 and $5 000 is about R93 000 when converted to rands.

The interview in which this was discussed focused mainly on Mzansi rappers’ managers.

Nota added that most of the international songs that Kwesta features on have not been heard in Mzansi.

"You’ll never hear them in South Africa but the money will be spent here."
