Lerato Kganyago has a pretty face but an acid tongue when approached the wrong way.

The beauty was recently forced to clap back against a fan who criticised her for not wearing a wedding ring.

The fan was commenting on a picture that the newlywed posted on her Instagram page.

In the pic, Lerato is posing without a wedding ring on.

The fan asked, "Where's your wedding ring?"

Lerato cheekily responded, "Did you buy me (one)?"

Ooooooh, I bet that fan will think twice before meddling in other people's affairs again.

Seriously though, there could be a number of reasons why Lerato wasn't wearing a ring.

For one thing, she's only had a traditional ceremony and payment of lobola so far.

So, the star might be planning on wearing a ring only after signing a formal marriage certificate and having a white wedding.

On the other hand, there are plenty of married couples who opt to not wear wedding bands at all. And then there's the security angle, if the precious piece is safe at home it can't be 'lost', can it?

Lerato got married last month to her businessman bae Thami Ndlala. She wore beautiful bright blue traditional attire, which Somizi, as a guest, incorporated into his dashing outfit as well.

The star confirmed the happy news on her Metro FM radio show. The bubbly 'honeymoon' mood was evident from the way she spoke.

Later in an emotional Instagram post, Lerato thanked her co-host and friend, Dineo Ranaka, for her support throughout the momentous event.
