Service delivery and customer service is often a problem in South Africa and many attribute this to workers not taking pride in what they do.
A young lady made for a refreshing change, as a video of her monologue went viral.
In the video, the woman takes pride in the fact that she's regarded as an essential worker during the lockdown period.

She's employed at the Shoprite group and proceeds to showcase the company logo on her shirt.
Although many complain about the challenges of working in retail, the young woman's positive attitude seems to be overcoming these hurdles.
Reamogetse Patience Raseroka shared the video via Facebook on Monday and it's already been viewed 198 000 times.

Alton Yamkela Mzee joked,
"This kind you can't have a dull moment when they are around."

On a deeper note, Briefly.co.za previously reported that two Shoprite stores in Cape Town have been forced to take action and close after employees tested positive for the coronavirus.
A Somerset West Pick n Pay has also been affected after a staff member was confirmed to have contracted the virus.
