Tbo Touch has unfortunately faced the wrath and reality of the coronavirus head-on. He recently lost a dear friend to the virus.

The coronavirus has taken many thousands of lives. To some, the virus doesn’t seem real until someone close to them is infected.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Tbo, unfortunately, lost one of his friends to the virus on Tuesday. His friend had been living in New York.

Tbo has been one of the Mzansi celebs who have been doing their bit to keep spirits high and faith strong through this uncertain and dreadful time.

Sharing the devastating news, Tbo expressed how difficult this is going to be for him and how that much more real the virus has now gotten for him.

Not sharing too much as it was still fresh, Tbo reminded people how serious this virus is - “This virus is lethal.”

Seeing how devastated Tbo was, fans took to the comment section of the live stream to show their love and support. Tbo appreciated it greatly.

Tbo then went on to spread some positivity, emphasising that he refuses to let this virus beat him, his country or the globe!

“I am not waiting for Covid-19 to be over and say we survived it. No, we are not surviving this one. We are thriving over this one. We are rising higher over this one. We are coming out conquerors.”

Lastly, Tbo highlighted the pressing point that the only way we will get through this is together.
