South African hip-hop heads are still divided over who should have won the rap battle between two of Mzansi's finest rappers, Nasty C and Emtee.

The two went hit-for-hit in an Instagram Live battle dubbed The Revolution of Hip Hop, hosted by hip-hop producers Tweezy and Gemini Major.

The two heavy hitters dished out some of their best work including hits such as Roll Up to Juice Back.

According to the results posted online by Gemini Major, Nasty C won eight rounds while Emtee took seven.

Some fans accused the judges of being biased.

Gemini explained:

"We had 5 judges but feel free to pick your choices, this was never about picking a winner in the first place. Lol how do you even pick from this bro?"

Some of the peeps who watched the battle also took to social media to express their views.

@hype_board commented:

"Those results don't make sense, actually this battle doesn't deserve to be judged, they both came in hard, these are two different artists and they both relevant."

@MlungisMbuyis1 wrote:

"80% in this comment section say Emtee won, and that's what matters, not the 'judges'... The hustla won."

@Duma08 said:

"8-7 to Nasty. Would have been interesting having Juice Back vs Roll Up."

While some fans are still up in arms over who should have won, some people are just appreciating both the rappers' talents.

@Smurts_Django added:

"Let the people vote. This is big."
