Veteran South African musician Yvonne Chaka Chaka has been in the music industry for decades.

The singer who began her music career at a young age, has performed her internationally recognised hits in many countries across the globe.

The Umqombothi hitmaker has travelled the world and has met some famous people in her lifetime.

Her timely music gained her popularity in so many African countries and has earned her a nickname, "Princess of Africa".

Yvonne took to social media on Thursday to throw a young #TBT with some of the world renown icons she has taken pictures with.

She captioned the post:

"My TBT with all the people I love and respect @suzannaowiyo @josinazmachel. The one and only Mama Africa Miriam Makeba and her Princess."

She shared pictures of herself with some of the biggest names in the world.

In one picture, she is rubbing shoulders with late South African singer Miriam Makeba, who was affectionately known as Mama Africa.

In another picture, she shares a smile with late former South African president Nelson Mandela and his widow Graca Machel.

In the final picture, she is with fellow African singers including Suzanna Owiyo - a renowned Kenyan singer and songwriter.

Suzanna reacted to the post:

"Humbled my big sister. Stay safe."

Yvonne's fans also loved her TBT.
