Rapper Priddy Ugly's wife Bontle Modiselle has revealed that she is the one who asked him out.

This happened just a few days after Bontle was dumped by her then-boyfriend on her birthday.

She spilled the tea during the celebrity couple's first post on their new joint YouTube channel.

The recently married couple said they started of as friends before Bontle had enough courage to ask Priddy out in 2009.

The Tshela hitmaker said he was only 16 when they first met at a dance event in Johannesburg.

"The only girl I could look at was this girl who was surrounded by boys. I did not get a chance her name or her number on that day."

He said had to hassle her friends in order to get her Mxit number. They then started chatting and became friends.

The gorgeous actress revealed that back then she and her friends used to have a crush on Priddy, real name Ricardo Moloi.

"I didn't have the courage to ever approach him, I thought he was out of my league. I didn't think he would like me. I didn't have the drip. I thought I was dry, I thought I was too tomboyish. I didn't dress the part."

Her husband also admitted that at that time he was crazy about her but didn't have the courage to ask her out.

It was only in 2009 that they took their relationship up a notch.

Bontle's then-boyfriend dumped her on her birthday in October 2009, and a few days later she approached Priddy.

"I asked him out on 25 October."

Eleven years later, they are happily married and still in love. They've also been recently blessed with a baby girl.

Bontle advised ladies:

"Ladies go get your man, don't be scared, but not somebody else's man I got to make that clear. It's very important to spend your life with your best friend."
