South Africans are running out of entertainment as Season 2 of the lockdown begins. The boredom was evident on social media, with numerous firey exchanges.

Briefly.co.za explores the hottest things to happen this past week in Mzansi.

1. Nando's and 'Bheki Cele's' hilarious exchange online has Saffas laughing out loud

A man who was craving some Nando's shared a hilarious photo online, joking he was digging a tunnel to get to the fast-food restaurant. However, Nando's tagged Bheki Cele in a comment and said the man was using them as a cover to get to Tops bottle store.

A parody account for the police minister hilariously reacted to the post and in left South Africans laughing out loud.

2. Mzansi says Date My Family's Thinah's attitude is as bad as her wig

You would think people would leave their attitude at home when going on national TV, but no, they never learn.

The latest victim of Mzansi's sharp tongue was Date My Family bachelorette, Thinah. The 26-year-old mom-of-two was front and centre, looking for Mr Right on last night's episode of the popular dating show.

What really got under people's skin was how rude Thinah was to her final date. Thinah rudely told him, to his face, that he wasn't what she was expecting and she didn't want him. Mzansi decided to give her a taste of her own medicine by dissing her style and wig choice.

3. King Monada builds R1.5 million mansion for two wives in rural Limpopo

King Monada is one Mzansi's most hard-working and consistent musicians. Monada entered the music industry in 2005 as a dancer. Since then, he's worked his way to the top of the Mzansi dance music charts.

The polygamous star's also found love along the way, with two women who eventually became his wives. King Monada has built a six-bedroom house for his family in his home village of Mokgolobotho. Mokgolobotho is a small village, without water or electricity, located outside Tzaneen in Limpopo. Monada built the house opposite the home where he grew up.

4. Man spoils bae on her 21st birthday in quarantine, Mzansi gets jelly

A woman spent her 21st birthday under quarantine, but still had the time of her life. Her bae was largely responsible for that and she took to Twitter to share some of the most eye-catching photos.

Twitter user (@wavyemma) shared four pics to highlight some of the festivities and revealed the gifts she received.

The photos revealed some tasty treats and a wide array of designer brands. Briefly.co.za noted that the post went viral and the 136 000 likes are quite staggering.

The vast majority of tweeps were thrilled for the young lady, but the post sparked some questions.

5. Rachel Kolisi hits out at critics upset about her daughter's hair

Racehl Kolisi, queen of the clap backs, has been quiet for a while. So quiet that so people have forgotten to tread carefully on her social media feed. Some people were upset with her latest post on social media.

Briefly.co.za learned what got people worked up was a picture she posted of her hugging her daughter. That was not the problem, people took offence to the fact that she had straightened her daughter's hair.

Here are some of the spicy interactions that took place according to ZAlebs. One person who took exception wrote that her next post would be:

"My daughter let me use skin lightening cream on her skin to see which complexion she prefers"

Rachel was quick to clap back. "Really? Have you seen your profile pic?"
