Brilliant gushes about strong marriage with wife after she lost an arm

Over the weekend, Brilliant Khuzwayo spoke to Durban-based socialite Tha Simelane on Instagram.

The former Orlando Pirates star spoke about a horrible accident he and his wife were in a couple of years ago, which saw his partner losing her arm.

Brilliant said that the incident has brought him and his wife closer, adding they have been inseparable since.

He said:

"When you truly love someone, no matter what can come into your life, always stick by her side."

Brilliant, who retired from football in 2018 after an ankle injury, said they have been together for several years now.

The former footballer said he's off the market despite previous rumours that he and Babes Wodumo were together.

He added that being a Zulu man, he believes in true love, ZAlebs reported. Brilliant evaded a questions about what he's focussing on at the moment.

However, Briefly.co.za previously reported the former Bucs goalkeeper revealed that the early exit might pave the way for a new career into coaching.

He said, “My journey into football won‘t end here. I know it’s painful but we are going forward no matter what.”
