Award-winning filmmaker Kagiso Modupe can't wait for Mzansi's Covid-19 lockdown to end so that he can get to work.

Kagiso has taken to social to tell his fans that he has finished writing a full feature film.

He wrote that the film is a beautiful story that people will relate to.

"Just finished writing a full feature film. Cant wait for #lockdown to end so we can get to work. It's a beautiful story that people will relate to. Stay home and be safe love you all."

His recent film Losing Lerato won six awards at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema in California.

It tells the story of a father's journey of wanting to have a relationship with his daughter.

The former Scandal! actor said he is also open to teaching artists how film music works.

"I'm always open to music... always. I think it's time we utilize our artist than going to library music. I am also open to teaching artist how film music works."

Kagiso's fans said they can't wait for his next production.
