A Texas-based woman, who has spent a staggering 23 years growing her nails, has won recognition for having the world's longest fingernails.
The Guinness World Records 2018 Edition recently awarded Ayanna Williams the title.
Each of her nails measures about 0.6 meters long. In total, they measure 5.4 meters long.
In an interview, Williams said she was inspired by her friends and is determined to grow her nails even longer.
She added that her nails take up to a week to paint. However, her biggest challenge is pulling up her trousers.

I am elated and honoured. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd make it into the Guinness World Records books!
She said the main reason she applied for the record is to let her children know that they can accomplish anything they put their minds to.
