A woman, Mpumelelo LaNdabezitha, is one of the farmers who are tasked with feeding the nation during these difficult times.
Agriculture falls under essential services and with good reason. Without our farmers there would be no food in the supermarkets.
LaNdabezitha took to the #ImStaying Facebook page recently to show off her hard work and to gush about being a farmer in the most crucial times.
She captioned her post:
"Food is a basic need in all seasons. Lockdown or no lockdown, we farm. Meet me, your food supplier in all seasons. I'm staying for my country and its beautiful souls during this lockdown and after. #Imstaying -LaNdabezitha M your farmer."

"May this virus bypass you. I salute all farmers here too!"
Khomottso Setatti added:
"Farmers you represent, we are nothing without you."
Briefly.co.za previously reported on another inspiring lady. After losing her job, Ntando Thabethe saw potential in her large backyard.
Her husband gave her R389 to do her hair but Thabethe decided to buy seeds instead. At first she only wanted to feed her family but today, Thabethe is running a successful business that employs 40 people.
