Nasty C is very high on the list of good guys at the moment. With Nasty’s WUD song that he wrote for actress Pearl Thusi, he raised the bar even higher with his Castle Lite Unlocks in Bed live-stream show. He used this platform to perform his unreleased song WUD.

Broadcasted last Friday, the live stream concert was hosted by American radio host and TV presenter, Sway.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Nasty C took the opportunity to share the meaning behind his song WUD, which was written for South African actress and media personality, Pearl Thusi.

Nasty said that the song was written a few years ago but he never got to complete it. The award-winning rapper went into detail explaining the lyrics of the song. The words of encouragement in the song were attributed to the support Pearl had shown Nasty throughout his career.

Nasty said that he just never had the time to finish the song and Pearl never got the opportunity to hear it. He went on to say that the song was a salute to Pearl and that she was like a sister to him. Nasty commented that Pearl is the type of person who shows love and yet people give her uncalled-for trouble. This motivated Nasty to write a song in order to uplift Pearl.

The lyrics are powerful in the sense of the rapper encouraging Pearl to take a stand against haters. The hard work and dedication Pearl has put into her career deserve respect from everyone. Comments that were posted were approvals and positive words.
