- Rami Chuene is certain that this lockdown is going to go on a lot longer than any of us want it to
- Taking to social media after President Cyril Ramaphosa's speech on Tuesday night, Rami expressed her feelings
- She believes this is going to carry on at different severities for the next six months, and we all need to be prepared for that mentally
Mzansi actress Rami Chuene has a suspicion that South Africans might be staying in their homes for a lot longer than they think.
With today marking 28 days of lockdown and the president set to address the nation again tonight, people are sitting on the edge of their seats.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Rami feels that the people of Mzansi - and the world - won’t be freely exiting their homes for the next six months or more.
Even though the government have not given any formal statements addressing a further extension, Rami has no doubt that it is definitely going to be extended.
Rami anticipates gradual extensions for the next six months or more. She does not feel that the world will be able to beat this virus that easily and that people need to internalise that.
The reason Rami feels this way is as a result of President Cyril Ramaphosa's speech on Tuesday night. Seeing him roll out a six-month plan. Rami couldn’t ignore that.
Taking to social media, Rami urged her followers to start preparing for the worst, especially mentally!
“A provision for the next couple of months has been made. Six months to be exact. We can’t end the lockdown too soon. We must do it in phases or stages. We gonna have to be patient, trust the process and #StayAtHome.”
