South African rapper Emtee is not the only celebrity who is not feeling Drake's hit titled Toosie Slide.
US hip-hop radio show host Charlamagne Tha God has reportedly revealed that he is not feeling the song too.
The renowned radio host has said the song is "beneath" Drake, according to reports.
SA Hip Hop Mag quoted Charlamagne:
"I think it’s wack, and I think it’s beneath Drake."
It's reported that Toosie Slide is Drake’s third single to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also hit a billion views on TikTok in just two days, making it the fastest song to hit a billion on the app.
Charlamagne said Drake, as a biggest rapper in the world, shouldn't be chasing trends.
"A lot of times with those TikTok dances, it’s just organic. It’s a song people like and somebody does something to it and it goes. It felt too forced. Too corporate. Too industry. I just feel like Drake has built himself up in such a way that he don’t have to do that."
Briefly.co.za reported that Emtee took to social media to share his view on the Toosie Slide.
"Dat Toosie Slide joint trash."
The majority of social media users who saw the tweet disagreed with Emtee.
A handful of his fans defended him and agreed that the song is trash.
