- AKA recently decided to post and then delete a couple of snippets from his yet-to-be released music
- Fans are convinced the snippets are from his upcoming album
- The rapper deleted the previews after receiving a bit of a lukewarm reception for them
AKA is quite an unpredictable dude.
The rapper has promised fans a new album this year, but hasn't picked a release date yet.
Instead, he's been teasing us with smaller-nyana snippets of songs he's working on.
On Wednesday night, AKA put a couple of these on his social media account - and, to fans' dismay, deleted them just a few hours later.
By Thursday morning, Supa Mega fans were asking where the music had gone.
One tweep wrote, "So AKA decides to rock up (at) midnight, post snippets, I wake up in the morning, they are all gone. Why me??!!!"
We don't know why AKA decided to delete the snippets.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that some people called them "wack."
Hey, it takes time to cook up perfection and we're sure AKA is making magic in the kitchen right now.
Early this year, Briefly.co.za reported that Nasty C, AKA, Emtee and A-Reece all said they'd be releasing albums in 2020.
The coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown have, unfortunately, put a dent in many of our favourite entertainers' plans.
Yesterday, President Cyril Ramaphosa announced a relaxation of lockdown rules.
Hopefully, this will result in us getting new music from our faves sooner rather than later.
