DJ Maphorisa is with Kelly Khumalo on the need to pray! Backing sis up, Maphorisa took a more interactive and hyped approach to rallying faith.

Religious people all over the world are turning to their respective gods in this time of crisis for strength and guidance.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Maphorisa saw Kelly’s plea and decided to jump on board and help encourage prayer.

Kelly recently took to social media with an extremely emotional outcry for people to pray. Sis feels that it is only God who can pull us out of this darkness.

Maphorisa heard her cry and is totally on her side. Deciding to target his peeps in a way he thought more would relate to, Maphorisa took to TikTok.

Singing a Xitsonga gospel song, Maphorisa caught people’s attention.

The people were impressed with how far Maphorisa went to make it authentic – he even rocked a doek! While it was for a serious cause, some couldn’t help but crack up.

Nasty C took the opportunity to share the meaning behind his song WUD, which was written for South African actress and media personality, Pearl Thusi.

Nasty said that the song was written a few years ago but he never got to complete it. The award-winning rapper went into detail explaining the lyrics of the song. The words of encouragement in the song were attributed to the support Pearl had shown Nasty throughout his career.
