Bonang Matheba has a whole different need for yeast than the rest of Mzansi – where can a gurl get a vetkoek around here?

When the lockdown was announced, it was also announced that the sale of alcohol was prohibited.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Queen B is finding this homemade beer thing a real inconvenience to her love for vetkoek.

As many South African’s dop supplies ran dry, they turned to brewing their own. The sale of pineapples, yeast and sugar rocketed of course.

While B hasn’t got an issue with peeps quenching their thirst, she does have an issue with the fact that she can’t buy yeast to fulfil her vetkoek cravings, as reported by ZAlebs.

Knowing the homebrew mission that Mzansi’s on, Bonang took to social media to let the people know that their girl is in some desperate need of yeast.

Bonang is craving that good food, help a sister out!

Fans were bust! Alcohol is apparently classified as an essential to many, and the people are hella thirsty.
