Mhlengi Xyber took to social media to share the fantastic work that his family is doing and possibly inspire others to do the same.
He posted his message on the #ImStaying page of Facebook. They use the little that they have to buy food and essentials for the disadvantaged and the vulnerable in their community.
Briefly.co.za knows that it is thanks to families like these that those who have nothing can endure the lockdown.
"We don't have much, it's hard for us to stay at home because deep down we know that a lot of families in our community are starving so we decided to put a couple bucks together and a few donations from other colleagues to assist the highly disadvantaged families."
They loaded their car with the food and essentials and delivered it to those in their community who needed it most, a true example of Ubuntu.

Mzansi whole-heartedly approved of what this family is doing and sung their praises online.
