Collen Mashawana is well-known for helping out those in need and has built numerous homes for impoverished South Africans.
The businessman has a heart of gold and his generosity was on display once again on Freedom Day.
Mashawana previously assisted the victims of the terrible flood in Mamelodi a few months ago.

He took to Facebook on Monday and shared a video showing his team making hundreds of food parcels for the victims.
The victims have been housed in churches and community halls since December, but Mashawana recently became aware of their dire living conditions.
His foundation will be pledging the food parcels, clothing and personal protective equipment to the community.

Hannie Kondie Mukheli said,
"I saw the pastor being interviewed it was a sad situation,its like government forgot about those people. God bless you."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Mashawana visited the home of 70-year-old Patience Bongiwe.
He was touched by her living conditions and has vowed to build the gogo a new home.
