Covid-19 lockdown: Actress Rami Chuene is happy to be in SA

Actress Rami Chuene believes that there's no place like South Africa.

The former The Queen star has taken to social media to tell her fans that she wouldn't choose to be anywhere else but right here in Mzansi amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

She praised South Africans for taking the news of the lockdown extension "very well".

Rami tweeted:

"I’m glad that we’re all taking the lockdown extension very well. It’s gonna be a while before we run around again but I wouldn’t choose to be anywhere else but home. There’s no place like South Africa. God bless us all."

Rami also thinks that KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and the Western Cape should remain at Level 5 after 1 May because of the high number of Covid-19 cases in these provinces.

"KZN, Gauteng and Western Cape should just stay at Level 5 beyond 1 May because wow..."

Briefly.co.za has reported that President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that the government will phase in the reopening of the economy amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Ramaphosa said South Africa will enter Level 4 from 1 May, meaning that extreme precautions to limit community transmission and outbreaks would be in place while allowing some activity to resume.
