Football legend Ronaldinho opens up on life in Paraguayan prison

Brazilian legend Ronaldinho has opened up for the first time since he was arrested by Paraguayan authorities for entering the country with a fake passport.

He and his brother were detained in Paraguay for allegedly trying to enter the country with altered passports.

But after seeking temporary release from the Paraguayan jail, the Brazilian legend was moved to an exquisite luxury hotel where he now enjoys five-star treatment.

He and his brother will remain under house arrest at the hotel until they are both cleared of wrongdoing by authorities.

The 2002 World Cup winner says he is praying for a swift solution to the whole scandal and cannot wait to return to normal life.

“I have my faith. I always pray so that things turn out OK and God willing this will all end soon," SunSport quoted him saying.
“I was welcomed with kindness. We played football, I signed autographs and posed for photos," the former Barca star further divulged.

He denied having any idea the passports he and his brother used in entering Paraguay were doctored.
